Tray Stacker

After washing, trays are transported to the stacking unit, where they are nested into a set height. Once full, the stack is pushed out and a new one begins. Operators then manually place the stacks onto pallets. The number of tray stacks the buffer can hold depends on the conveyor length, either 3000 mm or 5500 mm.

More Information

The BCC tray stacker can also be used after sowing. At the end of the production line, the tray stacker neatly and securely stacks the trays to prevent damage to newly sown seeds. Trays are slightly offset so the weight rests on the plastic profile, not directly on the cells. The operator then manually transfers the stacks to frames for transport to the greenhouse, cold storage, or other areas.
